Philosophical Society

On 3 December at 9 a.m. a one-day meeting on Synthetic biology - molecular bioengineering for the 21st century will be held in the Pippard Lecture Theatre, Cavendish Laboratory, Madingley Road, Cambridge. This will be an interdisciplinary meeting open to all. The meeting is being organized by Gos Micklem and James Brown. The speakers are Alfonso Jaramillo (Ecole Polytechnique, Paris), Georg Seelig (Caltech), Caleb Bashor (UCSF), Jim Haseloff (Cambridge), Jeremy Minshull (DNA2.0), and Ron Weiss (Princeton).

Prior booking is not required. Lunch tickets are available free to the first 120 Fellows of the Society. Entry is free and all who are interested are invited.
