NOTICES BY THE GENERAL BOARD

Payments to Examiners and Assessors: Notice

The General Board undertook a general review of payments made to Examiners and Assessors (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 230) in 2007, as a result of which all fees and payments were increased. On further consideration, the Board have concluded that the pro-rata rates for certain forms of examining and assessment are still too low.

The General Board have therefore recommended to the Council that certain payments listed in Regulation 3 of the regulations for payments to Examiners and Assessors should be revised as set out in Annex 1 attached to this Notice, with immediate effect. As a result of these revised levels of payments the total payments to Examiners and Assessors are expected to rise by approximately £96,000 a year. The Council has agreed to submit a Grace to the Regent House (Grace 3, p. 211) for the approval of the revised payments.
