Fitzwilliam Museum: Event

Inkle and Yarico: a concert performance of Samuel Arnold's 1787 opera

The Fitzwilliam Museum and Opera East Productions present Samuel Arnold's 1787 opera Inkle and Yarico, a tale of love and betrayal told against the background of the Atlantic slave trade. Inkle and Yarico will complement the exhibition 'From reason to revolution: art and society in eighteenth-century Britain', currently showing at the Fitzwilliam Museum.

The production will take place on 26 November at 7.30 p.m. at the Fitzwilliam Museum. Tickets (£25; concessions and Friends of the Fitzwilliam Museum, £20) are available from Cambridge Arts Box Office, 6 St Edward's Passage (tel. 01223 503333).
