Clinical Lecturer/Specialist Registrar in Respiratory Medicine in the School of Clinical Medicine

Applications are invited for the post of Clinical Lecturer, to take up appointment as soon as possible after 1 March 2008. The person appointed will be of the standing required for an honorary contract of service with the NHS Executive Eastern Region as a Specialist Registrar/ST3-7 in Respiratory Medicine and will be required to undertake clinical work, teaching, and research. The post is also approved for dual training in General Internal Medicine (GIM) if required. Teaching will include acting as a Clinical Supervisor to a group of students. The appointment will be for four years with the possibility of reappointment for a further two years. This post is particularly suited to individuals who have completed a higher research degree (M.D./Ph.D.) and wish to submit an Intermediate or MRC Clinician Scientist Fellowship. The salary will be in the range of £29,364 to £50,972 a year.

Senior Assistant Registrary (Head of Graduate Administration) in the Academic Division of the University Offices

As Head of Graduate Administration and Secretary of the Board of Graduate Studies, the post-holder will be responsible for driving major policy and administrative changes in the University's graduate education arrangements and for enhancing the graduate student experience at Cambridge.

Applicants should be educated to degree level and have significant relevant administrative and staff management experience, preferably gained in higher education. Appointment will be to the retiring age subject to the satisfactory completion of a probationary period. The salary will be in the range of £44,074 to £46,758 a year, with the possibility of progression on contribution once in post to £52,627.
