Elections

Professor Andrew Michael Gamble, B.A., Ph.D., CAI, M.A., Durham, Professor of Politics, University of Sheffield, elected Professor of Politics with effect from 1 January 2007.

Professor Martin Kilduff, B.A., M.B.A., Washington State University, Ph.D., Cornell, Kleberg/King Ranch Centennial Professor of Management, University of Texas at Austin, elected Diageo Professor of Management Studies with effect from 4 October 2007.

Appointments

Senior Computer Officer

Engineering. Mr Stephen Martin Shorrock, B.Sc., York, appointed from 15 October 2007 until the retiring age.

Administrative Officer

University Offices (Personnel Division). Mrs Susan Ruth Davis appointed from 1 August 2007 until the retiring age.

Reappointments

University Lecturer

Engineering. Dr Liping Xu, DOW, reappointed from 1 April 2008 until the retiring age.

Assistant Director of Studies

Public Health and Primary Care. Dr Warwick Jeremy Stephen Webb, W, reappointed from 1 October 2007 for three years.
