Nigel Walker Prize in Criminology: Notice

The Institute of Criminology invites applications for the Nigel Walker Prize. The Prize is awarded in recognition of the contribution to the work of the University by Nigel Walker, second holder of the Wolfson Professorship of Criminology (1973-84).

A prize of £300 shall be awarded, at the discretion of the Assessors, for the best submitted Ph.D. thesis in the field of criminology by a member of the University of Cambridge. Applicants should have University of Cambridge student status or have held this at the time of writing. The Ph.D. qualification should have been awarded between 1 October 2004 and 30 September 2007, that is, the Board of Graduate Studies award letter should have been issued within this time frame.
