The Council has received the remarks made at the Discussion of this Report on 10 July 2007 (Reporter, p. 890). As the Report and Professor G. Meeks's remarks make clear, the need for a Chair in Finance was set as a high academic priority in a general review of Judge Business School's needs in 2005. The Council and the General Board are grateful to the Eranda Foundation for their generous support in the establishment of this Professorship. The Council is submitting a Grace (Grace 4, p. 888) for the approval of the recommendations in the Report.
