Dame ANNE LAURA MCLAREN, Sc.D.(Hon), M.A., D.Phil., Oxford, FRS, Distinguished Group Leader in the Wellcome Trust/Cancer Research UK Gurdon Institute of Cancer and Developmental Biology, Honorary Fellow of King's College and of Lucy Cavendish College, Fellow Commoner of Christ's College, died on Saturday, 7 July 2007, aged 80 years.
