RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP IN BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERING

The College proposes to elect to a Bellhouse Research Fellowship by Examination in Biomedical Engineering. The Fellowship will be tenable for three years from 1 October 2007 or as soon as possible thereafter. Candidates should have a good Honours degree or equivalent and have completed, or be near to completing, a doctorate or comparable postgraduate research. The successful candidate will already have demonstrated outstanding promise in the general area of biomedical engineering. Candidates must not have completed more than four years' graduate research by 1 October 2006.

The Fellowship is tenable for three years at a stipend starting at £17,402 a year with increments in the second and third years. The Fellow is a member of the Governing Body of the College and is entitled to free lunches and dinners, to a research allowance, and to either free single accommodation or to a discretionary housing allowance, currently set at £9,000 a year.
