Equality and Diversity: Events

In the last three years, the University has developed Equality Schemes for Race and Disability, and now, under the Equality Act 2006, the Equality and Diversity Section of the Personnel Division is looking at Gender Equality in the University. Following the Women's Forum 2006, two events have been planned to take this type of consultation further:

On Tuesday, 13 February, there will be three opportunities to attend a focus group for male members of University staff. These 90-minute sessions will take place in the Knox Shaw Room, Sidney Sussex College, at the following times: 9.30 a.m. to 11 a.m., 12.30 p.m. to 2 p.m., 2.30 p.m. to 4 p.m. Participation in these focus groups is restricted to men.

On Thursday, 1 March, there will be a Gender Forum, open to men and women. This will be held in the 1st South Room, University Centre, Granta Place, from 1 p.m. to 4.30 p.m.
