Wadham College and the University of Oxford invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the above post, with effect from 1 September 2007. The combined University and College salary will be on a scale from £37,642 to £50,589 a year. There will be additional, generous College allowances available and the Law Faculty offers a start-up grant of £4,000 (unless the appointee currently holds an established Oxford University academic post).
The successful applicant will have a high level of research and teaching ability. S/he will be required to take tutorial responsibilities and teach for the College, lecture and supervise graduates for the Faculty of Law, and pursue research and publication. The College has a preference for someone able to teach in an area of public law.
