On Monday, 30 October, at 8.30 p.m., in the Cockcroft Lecture Theatre, New Museums Site, Professor Richard Fortey, FRS, of the Department of Palaeontology, Natural History Museum, London, will deliver a lecture entitled The life habits of the trilobites. All who are interested are invited.
At a meeting held on Monday, 16 October, in the Cockcroft Lecture Theatre, Professor T. J. Pedley, President, was in the Chair. Professor Andy Hopper, FRS, delivered the Larmor Lecture, entitled Sentient computing. A vote of thanks was moved by Professor David J. C. MacKay.
The Cambridge Philosophical Society's Honorary Fellows Prize Lecture for 2006 will be given by Sir Tim Hunt, FRS, on Wednesday, 1 November, at 5.30 p.m., in the Lady Mitchell Hall, Sidgwick Site. All who are interested are invited.
