Events at Kettle's Yard

Exhibition

An exhibition of sculptures and photographs entitled 'Rodin: All about Eve' will be on display at Kettle's Yard until 19 November 2006.

Rodin Lectures

Lectures take place at 6.30 p.m. Tickets: £5 (Friends £4, students £2).

31 October Rodin and his Eves, by Catherine Lampert, curator of the Rodin exhibition at the Royal Academy.
8 November Setting her right: Eve in Christian art, by Eamon Duffy, Professor of the History of Christian Art, President of Magdalene College.

Rodin Workshops

The Big Draw: Light and Dark

23 October, 10 a.m. - 11.30 a.m.

Art work and natural objects are arranged in a very particular way in the Kettle's Yard house - come and explore the shadows through this practical drawing session. Open to all ages, free of charge, booking essential.

Exploring Eve

30 October, 10.30 a.m. - 4.30 p.m.

A day of drawing and modelling, working from Rodin's sculptures and a life model. Led by sculptor John Gibbons, Head of Sculpture at Winchester School of Art. For adults and people aged 16 plus, £20 (concessions £15).

Drawing Eve

Throughout the exhibition 'Rodin: All about Eve', materials will be available for visitors to take inspiration and sketch in the gallery spaces. Free of charge, no need to book.

Lunchtime Talks

Talks are free, begin at 1.10 p.m., and last approximately 30 minutes.

The Gallery is open, free of charge, from 11.30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesdays to Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays.
