Professorship of Comparative Immunogenetics: Notice

The Board of Electors to the Professorship of Comparative Immunogenetics invite applications for this Professorship to take up appointment on 1 January 2007 or as soon as possible thereafter. The successful applicant will be an expert in evolutionary or comparative immunogenetics and will be expected to provide academic leadership in research and teaching in this field. The University of Cambridge and its affiliated Research Institutes include a large community of scientists engaged in the study of infection and immunology, and there are many opportunities for collaboration.

The appointment will be subject to the Statutes and Ordinances of the University.

The post will be allocated to the Department(s) within the School most appropriate to the new Professor's research interests once these are known.
