Pembroke College

DRAPERS' COMPANY RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP

The College hopes to elect not later than 1 January 2007 to the following Fellowship with tenure from 1 October 2007: Drapers' Company Research Fellowship in the Physical or Biological Sciences or Mathematics. There is a preference for candidates under twenty-eight years of age but older applicants are not excluded. The tenure of the Fellowship will be for three years. The holder will be permitted to do a limited amount of teaching for the College, but would require the permission of the Governing Body to undertake other paid work. The stipend currently ranges from £19,666 to £20,841 and is reviewed annually. The deadline for applications is 8 September 2006.

STOKES RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP IN MATHEMATICS OR PHYSICAL SCIENCES

Pembroke College intends to elect not later than 1 January 2007 to a postdoctoral Stokes Research Fellowship if candidates of sufficient merit present themselves. The Fellowship is in the fields of Mathematics and the Physical Sciences. Candidates must be graduates: some experience of postdoctoral research will normally be expected. The tenure of the Fellowship will be for three years from 1 October 2007. The holder will be expected to do a limited amount of teaching for the College but would require the permission of the Governing Body to undertake other paid work. The stipend will be fixed within the University scale according to age and experience, and in the region of £23,457: this will be subject to any revisions of stipends taking place between now and 1 October 2007. Further particulars are available on request. The deadline for applications is 5 September 2006.
