COLLEGE LECTURER IN LAW (TURPIN-LIPSTEIN FELLOWSHIP)

Applications are invited for the post of College Lecturer in Law. Applicants should be able to offer teaching in at least two of the following compulsory or regularly chosen subjects in the Law Tripos: Civil Law (viz Roman Law), Criminal Law, Tort, Constitutional Law, Land Law, Contract, Equity (viz Trusts), Public International Law, Criminology, European Union Law.

The successful candidate will be required to direct studies and participate fully in the administration of the subject, as well as undertaking nine hours supervision a week during Full Term for or on behalf of the College. The post will be for a fixed term of five years. The annual stipend (subject to pay award pending) of a College Lecturer who does not hold a University or other office is currently on a scale of £22,670 to £30,119 if non-resident in College and £20,518 to £27,967 if resident in College. It is intended that the successful candidate will take up the appointment on 1 October 2006 (a later date might be negotiated).
