The following appointments, reappointment, and grant of title have been made:

Appointments

University Lecturers

• Architecture. Dr Torwong Chenvidyakarn, M.Phil., Ph.D., DOW, B.A., Chulalongkorn, Bangkok, appointed from 1 July 2006 until the retiring age. Miss Minna Marjaana Sunikka, M.Sc., Tampere University of Technology, Finland, appointed from 1 September 2006 until the retiring age.

• University Offices (Finance Division). Mrs Rachel Louise Dissel, B.Sc., Bath, appointed from 2 May 2006 until the retiring age, with duties in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences.

Under-Librarian

• University Library. Dr Ben Mathew Outhwaite, M.A., M.Phil., Ph.D., CHR, appointed from 1 May 2006 until the retiring age.

Senior Assistant Curator

• Zoology. Dr Richard Charles Preece, appointed from 1 December 2006 until the retiring age.

Administrative Officers

• University Offices (Finance Division). Miss Tina Jane Huish, B.A., Central Lancashire, appointed Administrative Officer, Grade I, from 1 June 2006 until the retiring age.
• University Offices (Research Services Division). Mrs Isobel Jayne Humphrey, B.A., East Anglia, appointed Administrative Officer, Grade II, from 15 May 2006 until the retiring age.

Computer Officer

• University Offices (Management Information Services Division). Mr Christopher Thomas Garrett, appointed Computer Officer, Grade I, from 24 March 2006 until the retiring age.

Reappointment

• Slavonic Studies. Dr Kylie Rachel Richardson, TH, reappointed from 1 October 2006 until the retiring age.

Grant of Title

Affiliated Lecturer

• Social and Political Sciences. Dr Ruth Ginette Scurr, CAI, has been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2005 for two years.
