COLLEGE LECTURESHIP IN ECONOMICS

Girton College seeks to appoint a College Lecturer in Economics with effect from 1 September 2006 for a fixed term of three years with the possibility of renewal. The Lecturer will be required to teach in small group supervisions for twelve hours a week during full term, to act as Director of Studies for Economics students at Girton, and to take a full part in the administrative aspects of the College teaching in Economics (such as admissions and recruitment of Girton Economics students). Applications are invited from those who specialize in 'core' Economics subjects, preferably Macro Economics. The majority of teaching, and directing of studies, will be for final-year students. The stipend will be on the scale of £20,044 to £32,490 a year, pensionable under USS.
