Canada Travel Grants for Research

Two Research Travel Grants, one in Sciences/Engineering and one in Arts/Humanities/Social Sciences, each worth up to a maximum of £750 towards the cost of travel and subsistence, are available from the Cambridge Canadian Studies Programme for Faculty Members. The scheme is intended to help academic staff at the University of Cambridge to visit Canada and to undertake a specific research project there, with a view to help foster collaboration with researchers in Canada. Candidates must include in their application letter the following: (i) a statement of proposed research up to a maximum of 200 words; (ii) travel details; (iii) details of the arrangement with the host institution in Canada; and (iv) a budget. The closing date for applications is 15 July 2006. Please send application letters to Dr R. Recipients of the Travel Grants will be expected to have completed their travel by 31 December 2006 and will be required to submit a brief report outlining the outcome of their collaboration.
