OUTREACH OFFICER IN THE CLASSICS FACULTY

Applications are invited for the above post, to start on 1 September 2006, or as soon as possible thereafter, for two years in the first instance. The main duties will involve working with the Faculty's Schools Liaison Officer to maintain and develop the Faculty's programme of outreach events, in Oxford and elsewhere. Candidates must have demonstrable, in-depth knowledge of Classics, an interest in promoting Classics, the ability to communicate effectively with a range of people, including students of school age and teachers, good IT skills, and the ability to organize and prioritize effectively. The salary will be at the Clerical and Library grade C5 (£19,093 to £22,776 a year), subject to review from 1 August 2006 as part of the implementation of the National Framework Agreement for staff in higher education.
