STIPENDIARY JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOWSHIPS 2006

Wolfson College proposes to make one election to a stipendiary Junior Research Fellowship in each of the following subjects: Linguistics and Philology (excluding Applied Linguistics); Politics and Sociology. The Junior Research Fellowships will be for three years, from 1 October 2006 at an annual stipend of £13,657 (current), including single accommodation (or an allowance in lieu) and Common Table meals. Applications are invited from men and women. Candidates should have had at least three years' relevant postgraduate experience by the start of the Fellowship but no more than three years should have elapsed since receipt of a doctorate.

NON-STIPENDIARY JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOWSHIPS 2006 IN HUMANITIES AND SOCIAL STUDIES

Wolfson College proposes to elect up to ten non-stipendiary Junior Research Fellowships in Humanities and Social Studies, without limitation of subject, for two years in the first instance, from 1 October 2006. These Fellowships carry Common Table rights and are renewable for a further term of two years subject to certain conditions. Candidates should have had at least three years' relevant postgraduate experience by the start of the Fellowship, but no more than three years should have elapsed since receipt of a doctorate.

WOLFSON/AEA TECHNOLOGY INDUSTRIAL FELLOWSHIPS 2006-08

Wolfson College proposes to make elections to two non-stipendiary two-year Wolfson/AEA Technology Industrial Fellowships from 1 October 2006. These Fellowships are intended to enable those working at AEA Technology or in industry to come to Oxford to engage in a joint research project with a University Department, with which the candidate must have made satisfactory arrangements. Fellows will normally be expected to spend one-fifth of their time in Oxford. The College will offer up to £1,000 a year towards any expense reasonably incurred in pursuance of the aims of the Fellowship.

The closing date for all of the above Fellowships is 20 March. (The College reserves the right not to accept late applications.)

JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP IN COMPUTATIONAL COMPLEX SYSTEMS AND NETWORKS RESEARCH

Wolfson College proposes to make one election to a Stipendiary Junior Research Fellowship in Computational Complex Systems and Networks Research for three years, to commence on or after 1 August 2006, at an annual stipend initially of £13,957 (current), together with free single accommodation (or an allowance in lieu) and Common Table meals. Candidates must hold a doctorate by the commencement of the Fellowship and no more than three years should have elapsed since receipt of a doctorate.
