TUTORIAL FELLOWSHIP IN ENGLISH AND UNIVERSITY LECTURESHIP (CUF) IN ENGLISH

Trinity College and the Faculty of English invite applications for the above post in the area of English Literature between 1642 and 1900, tenable from 1 October 2006 or as soon as possible thereafter. Ability to teach for the following undergraduate papers in the English B.A. Degree course is necessary: Moderations Paper 2a (Victorian Literature 1832-1900), Final Honour School Paper 5 (English Literature 1642-1740), Paper 6 (English Literature 1740-1832) and special options which fall within the candidate's field of expertise. The English Faculty currently has particular needs for lecturing and supervision in the period 1832-1900. The research interests of, and graduate supervision offered by the candidates should reflect these needs. Candidates should have a proven record of excellence in research.
