BURSAR

Applications are invited from appropriately qualified women and men for the post of Bursar at this College for mature women, comprising a student body of around 250. The Bursar has overall responsibility for the financial and administrative aspects of the College's life.

The Bursar is the principal financial and administrative officer of the College and has responsibility to ensure it has a secure financial base from which to pursue its educational purpose. The Bursar supervises the Bursary, manages the finances and investments of the College, and oversees its administration.

The salary will be negotiable, at around £45,000 a year. Flexible working hours will be considered. The successful candidate may be eligible for election to a Fellowship (College Statutes limit Fellowships to women). The Bursar would take office from 1 September 2006.
