Modern Greek for Beginners: Notice

The Head of the Department of Other Languages is pleased to announce that the Department offers a Modern Greek language course for beginners. This course, which is open to all members of the University, consists of one hour per week of grammar and one hour of conversation. It aims to provide a basic knowledge of spoken and written Greek for travel or research purposes.

The first class will be at 2 p.m. on 12 October, in Room 11, Lecture Block, Sidgwick Site. Conversation classes will be arranged at that meeting. Advance registration is not required for this course, but those wishing to attend are advised to provide their e-mail address to the Departmental Secretary (moderngreek@mml.cam.ac.uk), so as to be kept informed of any changes.
