The Professor of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry gives notice that a first Prize and a second Prize shall be awarded for the best and the next best annotated case history of a child or adolescent with a psychiatric illness seen during the clinical course leading to the Final M.B. Examination.

The Prizes are open to any member of the University who is pursuing his or her clinical studies in Cambridge and is a candidate for the Final M.B. Examination.

The value of the first Prize in 2006 will be about £600 and the second Prize about £300. Candidates should submit their case reports (which should be typewritten and should not exceed 5,000 words in length, excluding tables and diagrams) to the Professor of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Douglas House, Trumpington Street, Cambridge, not later than 9 June 2006.

Candidates' attention is drawn to the general regulations (Statutes and Ordinances, 2005, p. 700), and in particular to Regulations 10 and 11.
