Lucy Cavendish College

The College offers financial support towards the educational and research activities of its undergraduate and graduate students through a variety of studentships and grants. The College invites applications for research studentships from women accepted to undertake postgraduate research in any subject at the University of Cambridge. Preference will be given to those nominating Lucy Cavendish as their College of first preference, and recipients are required to be members of the College. No award will provide full funding.

This year the College wishes to draw particular attention to the following studentship:

Evelyn Povey Studentship for Research in Medieval or Renaissance French Literature

This award is available for those undertaking research towards an M.Phil or Ph.D. in the specified area. Further details available on request.

For undergraduate students, the value of studentships and bursaries will vary according to the means of the applicants, but none will provide full funding. Awards are available to those studying any subject.

For both undergraduate and graduate students the Ruth Tomlinson Memorial Award of £1,000 a year is available for a disabled member of the College.
