Le Bas Research Studentships: Notice

The Committee on Grants invites applications for the above Studentships for the furtherance of the study of literature from applicants who propose to undertake research as registered Graduate Students in the University. The value of each Studentship is determined by the Electors and will be about £2,900; tenure begins on 1 October 2006 and is for one year. Students will only be considered for an award if they are liable for fees.

Forms of application may be obtained from 4 Mill Lane, Cambridge CB2 1RZ, or downloaded from the Fees and Funding section of the Board of Graduate Studies website: http://www.admin.cam.ac.uk/offices/gradstud/current/funding/ Applications must be forwarded via the student's Tutor to the Committee on Grants at 4 Mill Lane so as to arrive no later than 1 May 2006; late applications cannot be accepted. Decisions will be made during the long vacation 2006.

Scholars may apply for a further award on not more than two occasions provided that the period of tenure does not exceed three years in all and does not extend beyond the Scholar's twelfth term of research as a registered Graduate Student, the Scholar remains liable for fees.
