A service of celebration will be held at Great St Mary's Church, at 11.15 a.m., on Sunday, 10 July 2005.
The University has been invited to attend this occasion to mark the 60th anniversary of the end of World War II and the 40th anniversary of the signing of the Friendship Agreement with Heidelberg. The Vice-Chancellor will be attending and invites Heads of House, and other members of the University who wish to attend, to join her in procession from the Senate-House.
Members of the University who wish to process should notify Mr Matthew Moss, Private Secretary, Vice-Chancellor's Office, and should be present in the Senate-House by 11 a.m. Academical dress (black gowns) with hoods should be worn.
