New Hall

COLLEGE LECTURESHIP IN ENGLISH

New Hall invites applications for a College Lectureship in English, for five years from October 2005 or January 2006. Applications would be welcomed from specialists in medieval literature, the period 1688-1847, or the twentieth century. The person appointed will be elected to a Fellowship, and expected to teach for twelve hours a week in Full Term, to direct studies for part of the Tripos, to engage in research, and to contribute to the life and running of the College. The salary scale applicable is currently £17,207 to £29,127.

The post is open to men and women; appointment will be for a single fixed term of five years only.
