WAYNFLETE PROFESSORSHIP OF CHEMISTRY

Applications are invited for the above post, tenable from 1 October 2006, or such later date as may be arranged. A non-stipendiary Fellowship at Magdalen College is attached to the Professorship.

The Waynflete Professorship of Chemistry is held in the Sub-Department of Organic Chemistry, within the unified Department of Chemistry at Oxford, one of the most prominent chemistry departments internationally. The University seeks to appoint a world-class scientist who, through leadership and the distinction of his or her contribution to the field, will ensure the continuing pursuit of excellence in research and teaching in organic chemistry at Oxford and its wide recognition outside.
