COLLEGE LECTURESHIP IN HISTORY

Girton College and Fitzwilliam College seek to appoint a College Lecturer in History with effect from 1 October 2005 for a fixed term of five years (non renewable). The post-holder will be elected into a Fellowship at Girton College, where s/he will be expected to participate in the direction of studies in History. The Lecturer will be required to teach in small group supervisions for 12 hours a week during term - the time to be divided between the two Colleges - and to assist in the recruitment and admission of History students to the Colleges.

The stipend will be on the scale of £20,540 to £24,820 a year. The stipend will be pensionable under USS.
