Election, appointments, and reappointments

The following election, appointments, and reappointments have been made:

Election

Professor Ehud Hrushovski, B.A., Ph.D., Berkeley, Professor of Mathematics, Hebrew University, Jerusalem, elected Rothschild Visiting Professor from 17 June 2005 until 15 July 2005.

Appointments

University Lecturers

Economics. Dr Flavio Martin Obedman Toxvaerd, B.Sc., M.Sc., Copenhagen, M.Sc., Ph.D., London, appointed from 1 October 2005 until the retiring age.

Veterinary Medicine. Dr Pierre Barreau, Dr.Med.Vet., National Veterinary School, Nantes, MRCVS, and Ms Jackie Louisa Demetriou, B.Vet.Med., London, MRCVS, appointed part-time from 1 May 2005 until the retiring age.

Clinical Lecturers

Psychiatry. Dr Paul Oliver Wilkinson, M.A., M.B., B.Chir., CHU, MRCPsych, appointed from 1 May 2005 for four years.

Senior Assistant Registrary

University Offices (Secretariat). Mr Christopher David Lewis appointed University Security Adviser from 1 April 2005 until the retiring age.
