Pembroke College seeks to appoint a Domestic Bursar from 15 September 2005. This senior post will have responsibility for the conference, residential, catering, and domestic departments of the College. The Domestic Bursar will also be in control of human resource management, health and safety, and be involved in the arrangements for major College functions. S/he will also deputize for the Bursar in his absence.
The successful candidate will have extensive general management experience, excellent cost control skills, and considerable background in human resources. Knowledge of health and safety issues would be distinctly advantageous.
The salary will be around £40,000, depending on experience and qualifications, plus an attractive benefits package.
