In accordance with Regulation 3 for academical dress (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 178) the Vice-Chancellor requests that Doctors in the several Faculties wear their festal gowns in public on the occasion of the visit of H. M. The Queen and H. R. H. The Duke of Edinburgh to the University on Wednesday, 8 June 2005.
She also requests that flags be flown until dusk on 8 June from University buildings having flagpoles.
