In collaboration with the Sun Hung Kai - Kwoks' Foundation, the Cambridge Overseas Trust proposes to offer a number of travelling Scholarships for students at the University, who intend to visit the People's Republic of China in the Long Vacation 2005, preferably as part of their undergraduate studies or, exceptionally, graduate studies.
The Travelling Scholarships to China normally have an average value of up to £1,200. Preference will be given to candidates intending to visit China for not more than ten weeks. The Travelling Scholars will be expected to submit a brief report on their visit to China.
Application forms are available from all Colleges and should be completed and returned by the candidate's academic adviser to Dr Anil Seal, Director of the Cambridge Overseas Trust, Trinity College, Cambridge, CB2 1TQ, as soon as possible and no later than 16 May.
