The Department now wishes to make an appointment to develop research in the regulation of cellular energy metabolism and cell death, preferably with relevance to inflammatory, neurodegenerative, and ischaemic pathologies. There would be advantage if the research linked with the Department's existing expertise in redox systems, apoptosis, and cell signalling.
