New Hall

FELLOWSHIPS IN BIOLOGY

New Hall intends to appoint to College Lectureships and Fellowships two or more individuals who are or expect soon to be working in the Department of Physiology, Zoology, Plant Sciences, Experimental Psychology, or a closely related laboratory. Those appointed will be expected to teach for three or four hours a week in Full Term (mostly students in their first two years), to interview students applying for places, to help arrange other teaching in biology, and to contribute to the academic life and running of the College. The College pays Fellows 20% above the usual rates for supervising, and a Fellowship Allowance of £1,282 a year. The posts will suit those with some additional form of financial support (e.g. from a Research Council) and an interest in undergraduate teaching.

Both posts are open to men and women; appointment will be for three years in the first instance. Further particulars can be obtained from the President's Secretary, New Hall, Cambridge, CB3 0DF (tel. 01223 762227, e-mail skg22@cam.ac.uk). Applications should be submitted, with supporting references and a curriculum vitae, by 14 June.
