The Council of the Philosophical Society gives notice that two General Meetings of the Society will be held at 4.15 p.m. on 9 May and 11 July 2005 in the Henslow Room, Central Science Library, Arts School, Bene't Street, for the purposes of electing Fellows.
At a meeting held on 14 March, in the Cockcroft Lecture Theatre, New Museums Site, Professor H. Ahmed, President, was in the Chair.
Professor Dame Louise Johnson, FRS, of the University of Oxford, delivered a lecture entitled Do we understand protein structures and can we exploit this knowledge for the design of new drugs?
