Announcement of a lecture and a seminar

The following lecture and seminar will be open to members of the University and others who are interested:

Centre for Research in the Arts, Social Sciences, and Humanities (CRASSH). A seminar led by Uradyn E. Bulag, of Hunter College, City University of New York, will take place at 4.30 p.m. on 12 April, at 17 Mill Lane. The seminar is entitled Hunting Chinggis Khan's skull and soul: Eurasian frontiers of historical, ideological, and racial imaginations.

Engineering. The sixth in the third series of Distinguished Lectures in Sustainable Development, organized by the Centre for Sustainable Development, will take place in Lecture Room 0 in the Department of Engineering, Trumpington Street, at 5.30 p.m. for 6 p.m. on 20 April. The speaker will be Professor Nazli Choucri, of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and the topic will be Information technology for sustainable development.
