Appointments, reappointments, and grant of title

The following appointments, reappointments, and grant of title have been made:

Appointments

University Lecturer

Pharmacology. Dr Dermot Michael Fintan Cooper, B.Sc., M.Sc., Cork, Ph.D., Bangor, appointed from 1 December 2004 until the retiring age.

Assistant Director of Research

Clinical Neurosciences. Dr Timothy David Fryer, B.Sc., M.Sc., London, M.Sc., Ph.D., Birmingham, appointed from 1 February 2005 until the retiring age, based in the Wolfson Brain Imaging Centre.

Heads of Departments

Chemistry. Professor Jeremy Keith Morris Sanders, SE, appointed from 1 October 2005 for two years.

Physics. Professor Peter Brent Littlewood, T, appointed from 1 October 2005 for five years.

Grant of Title

Affiliated Lecturer

Law. Dr John David Bagnall Oliver, T, has been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2004 for one year.
