Preachers before the University, 2005-06: Notice

The following persons have been appointed in the manner prescribed by Ordinance to preach before the University during the academical year 2005-06.

Michaelmas Term 2005

23 October To be announced.
6 November The Right Honourable Lord Wilson of Tillyorn, Master of Peterhouse (The Lady Margaret's Preacher, Commemoration of Benefactors, Scarlet Day).

Lent Term 2006

5 February Professor Marilyn McCord Adams, Regius Professor of Divinity in the University of Oxford and Student of Christ Church.
26 February Professor Simon Conway Morris, Professor of Experimental Palaeobiology, Fellow of St John's College (Hulsean Sermon).

Easter Term 2006

7 May Professor Walter Brueggemann, Professor of Old Testament Studies, at the Columbia Theological Seminary.
4 June The Reverend Joel Edwards, General Director of the Evangelical Alliance (Ramsden Sermon, Pentecost, Scarlet Day).

University Sermons are delivered in Great St Mary's Church at 11.15 a.m. on the Sundays stated. The Congregation are invited for refreshments with the Preacher at Michaelhouse after each Sermon.
