FIXED-TERM COLLEGE LECTURESHIP IN MEDICAL PHYSIOLOGY

New Hall wishes to appoint a College Lecturer in Medical Physiology from October 2005. Applications are invited from physiology graduates who expect to complete their initial research degrees (Ph.D. Degree or equivalent) by October 2005; particularly from those with a background in clinical medicine (preferably to the post-registration level) and with experience in supervision-type teaching of medical students. The person appointed will be elected to a Fellowship and will be expected to teach for six hours a week in Full Term, eventually to assist in directing studies, to engage in research, and to contribute to the life and running of the College. The salary scale for this post is currently £17,207 to £29,127.

The post is open to men and women; appointment will be for a single fixed term of three years with the possibility of renewal for a further two years.
