FORM AND CONDUCT OF EXAMINATIONS, 2004-05: NOTICE

Notices by Faculty Boards, or other bodies concerned, of changes to the form and conduct of certain examinations to be held in 2004-05, by comparison with those examinations in 2004, are published below. Complete details of the form and conduct of all examinations are available from the Faculties or Departments concerned.

Historical Tripos, Part II, 2005

The Faculty Board of History give notice that with effect from the examinations to be held in 2005, the form of the examinations for certain papers of the Historical Tripos will be as follows:

Part II

(Section B) Political Thought
Paper 3. The history of political thought to c. 1700

Candidates in Part II of the Historical Tripos who are also offering Special Subject K: Thomas Hobbes and the English Revolution, 1640-51 may not offer certain questions listed in Section A and Section B of this paper.

(Section D) Topics in English or European or English and European History
Paper 20. European Fascism, 1919 to the present

Candidates in Part II of the Historical Tripos who are also offering Special Subject P: Economic and Social History of the Third Reich may not offer certain questions listed on this paper.

The Faculty Board can confirm that no student will be disadvantaged by this change to the examination.
