SUPERNUMERARY TEACHING FELLOW IN LAW

St John's College invites applications from suitably qualified men and women for a three-year fixed-term Supernumerary Teaching Fellowship in Law (without membership of Governing Body), with effect from 1 October 2005. The person elected will be required to provide tutorial teaching to undergraduates for up to six hours each week during Full Term, and to take a significant part in the organization of teaching in Law and Law with Law Studies in Europe. He or she will also be expected to share pastoral duties and to participate in the undergraduate admissions process. The appointee will in addition be expected to provide lecturing or seminar teaching for the Law Faculty for up to 16 hours a year, preferably in British, European, and international employment/labour law. The appointee will also be expected to participate in the university examining process to a reasonable extent to be determined by the Law Tutors and the Director of Examinations of the Law Faculty. The election to the Fellowship will be subject to confirmation at the end of the first year if there has been a satisfactory report on the performance of the specified duties.
