EMANUEL MILLER PRIZE

By a bequest under the Will of Dr Emanuel Miller, St John's College received a sum of money for the establishment of a prize in the Philosophy of Science with special reference to the behavioural sciences (psychology and social science).

The prize of £300 will be awarded to the writer of the best essay, not exceeding 10,000 words, on a topic chosen by the competitor within the realm of the Philosophy of Science with special reference to the behavioural sciences (psychology and social science), and all members of the University under the age of thirty at the closing date for submission are eligible.

Any candidate who is in doubt as to whether the chosen topic lies within the specified field should communicate with the Master by 1 June 2005 and the College Council will resolve the matter. Essays, which should be typewritten or printed, must reach the Master by 10 October 2005.
