University Lecturer

University Lecturer in the Faculty of Economics

Applications are invited for a University Lecturer in any field of economics with effect from 1 October 2005. In addition to carrying out research and publishing in the best international journals, the successful candidate will be expected to provide teaching for and make an input into the direction and organization of the Faculty's Diploma in Economics graduate programme. Candidates should have a Ph.D. Degree, or be expected to have a Ph.D. Degree, by September 2005.

Appointment to a University Lectureship is for five years in the first instance, with the possibility of reappointment to the retiring age, subject to satisfactory performance. The pensionable scale of stipends for a University Lecturer is £24,820 a year, rising by eleven annual increments to £38,303 a year.
