Appointments

Executive Director of Research

Economics. Dr Michael John Sean Holly, F, B.A., Reading, Ph.D., CNAA, appointed from 1 October 2004 until the retiring age.

Associate Dean

Clinical Medicine. Dr Katharine Ann Mary Boursicot, B.Sc., M.B.B.S., London, appointed part-time Associate Dean, from 1 January 2004 for four years.

Departmental Secretaries

Judge Institute of Management. Ms Rebecca Whittingham-Boothe, M.A., W, B.A., East Anglia, appointed Departmental Secretary, Grade B, from 1 September 2004 until the retiring age. Mrs Juliet Mary White, B.A., Newcastle, appointed Departmental Secretary, Grade C*, from 1 September 2004 until the retiring age.

Geography. Dr Bhashar Vira, F, reappointed from 1 January 2005 until the retiring age.

Grants of Title

Affiliated Lecturers

Chemistry. Dr Charles Scott Boyer has been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2004 for two years.

Philosophy. Dr Eric Peter James has been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 November 2004 for two years.

Zoology. Dr David Christopher Aldridge, CTH, has been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 November 2004 for two years.
