JAMES PR LYELL RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP IN THE HISTORY OF THE EARLY MODERN PRINTED BOOK

The University proposes to appoint a postdoctoral Research Fellow to the Lyell Research Fellowship with effect from 1 October 2005 or as soon as possible thereafter. The appointment, initially for two years with a possible renewal for one year, is open to postdoctoral scholars working on any aspect of the history of the book in the handpress period (roughly 1450-1800).

The successful candidate will be elected to a Research Fellowship at Merton College. Salary will be between £19,460 and £29,128.
