Appointments, reappointments, and grants of title

The following appointments, reappointments, and grants of title have been made:

Appointments

Reader

Pathology. Dr Mark Christian Field, M.A., D.Phil., Oxford, appointed Reader in Cell Biology from 1 January 2005 until the retiring age.

University Lecturers

Experimental Psychology. Dr Michele Miozzo, Laurea, Padua, Ph.D., Trieste, Ph.D., Harvard, appointed from 1 October 2005 for five years.

Pathology. Dr Paul Digard, M.A., Ph.D., PET, appointed from 1 October 2004 until the retiring age.

Clinical Lecturer

Medical Genetics. Dr Jenny Carmichael, DAR, M.B., B.Chir., Ph.D., Leicester, MRCP, appointed from 1 November 2004 for four years.

Assistant Registrary

University Offices (Academic Division). Ms Margaret Amelia Bodfish, B.A., East Anglia, appointed from 1 September 2004 until the retiring age, with duties in the Faculty of Education.

Senior Advisory Officer

Grants of Title

Architecture. Ms Benedicte Foo, N, has been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2004 for a further two years.

Chemistry. Dr Charles Scott Boyer has been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2004 for two years.

English. Dr Yota Batsaki, JN, has been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2004 for two years.

Geography. Dr Martin James Head, W, has been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2004 for a further two years.

Modern and Medieval Languages. Ms Erica Monica Simona Segre, T, has been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2004 for two years.
