OXFORD NOTICES

Keble College

CHAPLAIN

Keble College is seeking to appoint a Chaplain for a five-year period with effect from April 2005 or as soon as possible thereafter. The person appointed to the post, which is non-renewable, would be a Fellow of the College and a member of the Governing Body. He or she must be in Anglican orders, and will be responsible for the conduct and oversight of services in the College Chapel and for pastoral care among all members of the College. The Chaplain is also Secretary of the Advowsons Committee, which is responsible for the College livings.

It is hoped that if suitably qualified, the Chaplain would also participate in the academic organization of Theology within the College and may undertake some teaching. These duties would be separately remunerated.

Further details may be obtained from the Warden's PA, Keble College, Oxford, OX1 3PG (tel. 01865 272700, e-mail trish.long@keble.ox.ac.uk).

Candidates should ask two referees to send references direct to the Warden's PA. The closing date for applications and receipt of references is 17 December.

Keble College is an equal opportunities employer.
